I bought these speakers as a replacement for my factory speakers in my 98' Jeep Grand Cherokee. The reviews from this site and the price point were big deciding factors as to why I pick this particular brand and model. After I installed the speakers and started using them, they initially sounded good, very good particularly in the mid to upper sound range.
