I have a TI-30AX and i can't appear out how to do freakin loggarithms with out log base 10!! CAn you even do that on that kind of calculator?? please help and tell me how to do these either...


use the computer's detailed calculator.. or get a Casio fx-570MS... its the best for scientific use...

You'll quite find that many of the questions ask for log in base e (~2.718), in which case there should be a button called "ln" on your calculator which will do this.

Yes you must use the transmute of base formula:
log_b(a)= log(a)/log(b)

ex.
log_4(14)= log(14)/log(4)
