Low battery!!

I just bought this translator brand new and from the first time I turned it on, it started flashing a "low battery" alert. Aren't new products supposed to come with new batteries? The processing speed is also slower than I had expected - pretty much everything takes a least a 3 second wait. Furthermore, it takes way too many button pushes to get a simple translation. You have to enter the word, then choose between different forms, then different...

Franklin 12 Language Translator

I have used this translator since 2005. I am amazed at all the words in this
handy translator and it is easy to use. The calculator comes in handy to convert dollars to Euros, the clock lets me know the time at home to know when to call too.
I would recommend it to others.
